ACD Flex the Dog needs a home

12-4-16 We received in Flex from someone who considered his release an emergency. Little did they remember that I had been contacted back in August of 2015 about him and did ask for him. However, they decided against it, even though they had already sent him intact to Canada to be a stud dog thru social media. (Poor Flex, he is very scared of his own shadow, so he must have been so very sad.)
Fast forward to December 4, 2016 and it was explained that they had tried numerous times to rehome him and Flex would not take to anyone. Well, here we are....

Flex is now between 2 and 3 and has been through some pretty horrible stuff. I can't even call it ignorance, since they did have an alternative over a year ago. I so wish I had him then. Flex will require a fenced in yard and quiet household where he can learn to trust again, at his own pace. He is NOT a bad dog, and with time and patience will be a faithful companion.

Our adoption fee ($250) covers the age appropriate spay / neutering, heart worm testing, rabies, distemper combo, microchipping and any other necessary medical that a dog may need. Please consider a rescue that comes to you with all of the routine medical (and then some) already done.

Prospective adopters who have submitted an accepted application and completed a telephone interview are welcome to schedule an appointment to travel to meet the dog. If approved for adoption, a deposit will hold the dog until a meeting or transport is arranged. AuCaDo Rescue does welcome out of state adoptions. We require an approved application, phone interview, photos and willingness to travel to meet the dog. AuCaDo Rescue is located in Remus, Michigan.
